Our family and friends have enjoyed the secluded comfort of this property for many years, about 120 years that is. Our great grandparents homesteaded the area and passed the property down through the generations. My grandfather and grandmother Hap and Florence Points lived and worked the land for many years before they both passed away in the1980's. After some exceptionally hash winters my grandfather was forced to lure the elk from his barnyard animals back down to the river bottom. Thus began, the Hap and Florence Memorial Sleigh rides, where you can now feed the elk from horse drawn sleighs during the winter. Its not uncommon to wake up to deer or elk wandering through the property. We have now decided to open things up even more to provide opportunities for others to come and experience a slice of our heaven on earth.
For the first time, this property will be open to others for RV camping.
Our roads aren't paved and our camp sites are few.
If you are looking to leave town and the constant barrage of daily life, then come and spend a couple days with us.
There are no hookups here, just a beautiful, open, peaceful place to casually make your way to when you are ready to let the hustle of life be left in your rearview.
You won't have to go anywhere or do anything but relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Or, you can take a walk down to the Gold Fork River and skip a few stones with the kids, or just relax in a hammock and read a book.
For those of us a little more high strung, don't worry there is plenty to keep you busy too.
We are only a couple miles from town but we enjoy a magnificent natural setting.
Special Introductory rates have been extended for our new friends and family.
Call us with your needs and we can try our best to accommodate you.
We also have a large group site available.
Our sites start out at $50/night with a two night minimum and 7 day maximum.
